Your challenge

To support our continuous growth, we are looking for an EXPORT SALES MANAGER to join the team, who will concentrate on building extra business, primarily in the private label market and in a number of in Northern & Eastern European countries.

This role reports to the Global Sales Director.

As a passionate ambassador, your goal will be to put Belmoca coffee roasting & filling services on the map.

Your responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with the Global Sales Director, you set up a customer strategy, a route to market and you develop a customer relations plan, for the countries you are responsible for. Based on in-depth market understanding of product, category, markets (geo-politics & economics), retailers and competition, you identify and develop focus accounts and growth markets.
  • You source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.
  • You determine all the critical success factors that make the customer choose Belmoca and ensure that all these factors are effectively fulfilled in order to ensure the success of the company.
  • You love to hunt for new customers 70% of your tasks will consist of prospecting, customer visits and setting up new business.
  • Of course you maintain and expand existing commercial contacts with customers as well.
  • You visit trade fairs and build up a useful network.
  • Thanks to your interest & experience in marketing & branding, the marketing actions you help to set up are a hit.

Your profile

  • You have a relevant Master degree, preferably complemented with an MBA.
  • You have a proven successful track record of at least 5 years, in international/export sales in FMCG.
  • Experience in the coffee (capsule) industry is a plus.
  • You have an international network of (discount) retailers, distributors, agents, brokers,…
  • You understand the dynamics of small/medium sized companies in a highly competitive environment.
  • You can quickly identify potential prospects and generate new business.
  • Bringing in new customers and orders gives you a kick.
  • A passion for sales is indispensable, as is a large dose of ambition.
  • You have an analytical and critical mindset, that will allow you to map your markets and prepare & defend a prospection plan.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and a ‘can do’ mentality.
  • You have a knack for languages: your English is fluent and you have good knowledge of at least one other European language, so that you can approach your target prospects in their mother tongue.
  • You are willing to travel internationally – on a frequent basis.
  • For your customers you are a Belmoca ambassador with passion, for your colleagues you are an enthusiastic and trustworthy team player.
